The work of this project includes: 1. Conduct a precondition survey prior to starting work. 2. Implement Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan. 3. Obtain permits. 4. Locate existing utilities. 5. Remove, salvage, and haul existing biofilter lava rock, woodchip, and pea rock media to the East Bethel WWTP. 6. Remove, salvage, and haul existing biofilter fan to RMF. 7. Demolish existing biofilter piping and geotextile fabric. 8. Furnish, install, and operate a temporary carbon odor control unit (C-OCU) from the time the existing C-OCU is shut down through commissioning of the new C-OCU. (Includes two carbon change outs for the temporary C-OCU.) 9. Decommission the existing C-OCU and prepare for shipping. Provide rigging and crane. Remove and salvage ductwork and appurtenances. 10. Furnish and install a new C-OCU with engineered media, fan, and ductwork on a concrete pad. Extend new electric and sanitary drain utilities to the C-OCU. 11. Commission the new C-OCU.
