Specifications include, but are not limited to: Seller shall complete repairs in Section 103.4 Critical Areas for Repair with visible high-water intrusion and leaks first. After completion of these critical repairs, City may request Seller to complete repairs outlined in Section 103.5 Other Areas of Concern. 103.2 In addition to the locations given, Seller shall identify and classify all the active areas of water intrusion in the Administration and Education Buildings at the Mohawk Plant. Water intrusion areas shall be classified by type of leak for proper method for application. Types of leaks include through infill pipe penetrations, cracks, joints, and cold joints (connection of wall to the foundation). 103.3 For water intrusion through an infill pipe penetration the Seller shall clean affected area from debris, drill proper injection points and inject polyurethane to form a proper seal. 103.4 Critical Areas for Repair 103.4.1 The first critical area of repair is the cold joint located in the lower-level southeast corner of the Education Building. The Seller shall repair the joints in the stairwell corner. The critical area is in the corner wall measuring 5ft H X 2.5 ft L. 103.4.2 The second critical area of repair will be in the lower level of the Administration Building behind the elevator. There is a large infill pipe penetration on the east wall that is leaking heavily measuring 6ft X 7ft. In the same room on the west wall there are small infill pipe penetrations that are leaking severely measuring 5ft x 4ft. 103.5 Other Areas of Concern 103.5.1 Administration Building, Lower Level: Along the east and west walls there is water intrusion into the wall to floor above the cold joint, as well as several large and smaller piping penetrations that were decommissioned in the past that are seeping water. Visible water stains and standing water appear in various areas on the lower level. 103.5.2 Education Building, Lower Level: On the east wall, water is intruding through the wall at the cold joint from the foundation wall to the grade level floor slab, this water leak has pooled on the floor and is running to the west under neath the hall’s seating area.
