Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City reserves the right to add and/or delete under the resulting contract various other Aerial Device, Hoists and Lifts acquired by the City during the term of the contract. 1. STANDARDS 1.1 All inspections of aerial equipment, floor hoists and ceiling hoists shall comply with all ANSI, OSHA AND National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards. The bidder shall provide the City of Salem copies of all test protocols to be utilized with their inspection(s) for the equipment listed in this Proposal with their bid or prior to the award of the contract. 1.2 The contractor must provide at least one level III inspector in Acoustic Emission testing. The inspector must be accredited and certified by the American Society of Nondestructive Testing, the bidder must provide the City of Salem a copy of this certification with their bid or prior to the award of the contract. 1.3 All inspectors performing inspections under this contract shall have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the testing of aerial lifts, and shops hoists and lifts. The bidder shall provide the City of Salem with the resumes of the technician inspectors who will be used to perform the work, outlining their past experience with their bid or prior to the award of this contract. 1.4 All inspections under this contract shall be performed in accordance with all applicable ANSI, OSHA, and NFPA standards. Test shall be live load when required by testing standards.
