Specifications include, but are not limited to: 4. Permits: The contractor shall obtain all permits required for the project and obtain an occupancy permit. This includes all health and safety permits. 5. Existing Conditions: The building is will be occupied during construction during the month of May. 6. Demolition: 0) The kitchen equipment that is marked to be reused will be stored safely for re-insulation. 1) The walls and floor and ceiling and kitchen equipment and cooler & freezer indicated on the drawing to be removed will be demolished and removed from the site. 2) The plumbing will be removed back to pipe indicated on the drawing. 3) HVAC, remove of existing equipment and components of the HVAC. 4) Removal of the electrical as indicated on the drawings making it safe. 5) Removal of the plumbing system as identified on the drawings and as required the concrete flooring. 7. Renovation/New Construction: 0) The contractor shall perform all demolition required to install the new equipment and components of the project. 1) New block walls and concrete floor and flooring and patching the existing ceiling and doors and pass through windows shall be installed according the drawings and specifications. 2) New flooring shall be installed along with the new plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and ceiling shall be installed. 3) The owner shall provide all the work associated with the fire alarm system. 4) The kitchen equipment shall be installed and tested prior to training with the user/owner. The Kitchen Equipment sub-contractor shall test each piece of equipment and provide documentation that it was tested and it works according to the manufacturer’s instructions. 5) Provide training for the kitchen staff including user manuals and warranty for each piece of equipment. 7) HVAC install equipment as indicated on the drawings, interface with the existing HVAC control system, testing, and training the owner on the equipment. 8) Plumbing - install equipment as indicated on the drawings. Install new grease trap. 9) Install new grease trap. 10) Electrical - install equipment as indicated on the drawings. 11) The gas lines in the kitchen shall be replaced. All the gas lines shall be removed from the exterior wall(s) to the new equipment. Paint all the gas lines with safety yellow.
