Specifications include, but are not limited to: Deliverable #1.1 : Complete collection of bioindicators 5-9 in the field by June 30 for the 25 existing SPRNCA sampling sites (located within all 14 SPRNCA reaches). (REQUIRED COMPLETION DATE: June 30 2024) Deliverable #1.2: Complete collection of bioindicators 1-9 in the field at two new representative sampling sites to be established in reaches 5 and 14 (REQUIRED COMPLETION DATE, bioindicators 6-9 by June 30, bioindicators 1-5 by August 31, 2024) Deliverable #1.3: Process all data collected in the field (as part of 1.1and/or 1.2 above) and present it within a final report (pdf format). Provide separate electronic files for each data set collected, as well as photographs, and other pertinent information from field work that can be used to ensure consistency for future sampling events. Document and/or suggest any changes or improvements in data collection methodology for future sampling protocols. (REQUIRED COMPLETION DATE: DECEMBER 31, 2024) Deliverable #2.1: Calculate and present the condition scores for each of the 14 SPRNCA reaches, using the suite of nine bioindicators, per Leenhouts, et.al (2006). Utilize the 2023 data collected by Dixon and Robertson (2024) for the woody metrics (bioindicators 1-5) at existing sampling sites, and the new data for woody metrics for the two new sampling sites in reaches 5 and 14. Utilize the 2024 data collected through this contract for herbaceous bioindicators (bioindicators 6-9) at all sampling sites. Summarize the following for the final report and provide separate electronic files for: (REQUIRED COMPLETION DATE: DECEMBER 31, 2024). a. One overall summary table that presents the overall condition score for each of the 14 reaches and the associated standard deviation, and the assigned condition class for each reach based on these scores. b. A detailed summary table that presents all of the scores for individual indicators for each sampling site, and UTM coordinates of all sampling locations. c. A table that lists the observable fire or flood history of each sampling transect as burned or recent flood disturbance, as a percentage of total transect length. d. Prepare a map of the SPRNCA, as a figure within the final report, and provide electronic geospatial files showing condition classes by reach, along with current year wet/dry data, as in Figure 4 below. Deliverable #3.1: Hydrologic characterization of 14 SPRNCA reaches for 2023- Compare the most recent available hydrologic data for the 14 SPRNCA reaches with the hydrologic thresholds listed in Table 4 (from Leenhouts, 2006), and the assigned condition classes for 2024.
