Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Phoenix (“the City”) requests bids for Rosemount’s Model 1056 and De Nora’s Model 870/1870E chlorine analyzers, including any related sensor equipment, which are divided into two groups: • Group I - Rosemount 1056 Intelligent Four-Wire Transmitter. • Group II - De Nora 870/1870E Series Chlorine Residual Analyzer. Contractor will supply Chlorine analyzers and related sensor equipment to meet the City of Phoenix’s Standards for Instrumentation (SECTION 17052 PROCESS CONTROL SYSTEM, PRIMARY SENSORS AND FIELD INSTRUMENTS, INSTRUMENT TYPE A5 – CHLORINE ANALYZER/TRANSMITTER) as follows: 1. Analyzer/transmitter will measure residual chlorine. 2. Range 0 to 1, 0 to 5 and 0 to 10 ppm. 3. Compensated for temperature variations over the range 32°F to 125°F. 4. LCD display with 0.7 inch (height) characters. 5. Selection of the high and low control and alarm points shall be by means of test switches and an internal simulator. 6. Two relay contacts shall be single-pole double-throw (SPDT) and shall have a current capacity of ten amps at 120 VAC non-inductive loads. 7. Electronics shall be solid-state and no printed circuit boards. 8. Output signals shall be 4 to 20 mADC isolated. 9. Unit shall be capable of 120 VAC, 60 Hz operation.
