Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Avigilon Video Surveillance system shall be furnished and installed by the awarded Contractor. Cabling shall be provided by MNPS, or where authorized and required, by the Contractor, depending upon the project. The system shall be provided with a minimum but sufficient number of licenses to permit the consecutive monitoring of live and playback video at locations specified by MNPS. The projects may consist of adding new cameras or modifying existing video cameras, Avigilon network video servers/recorders, Avigilon Control Center (Unity) video management software, network POE switches (provided by MNPS), vertical or horizontal racks for mounting servers, and/or wiring as necessary to provide a complete working system. Avigilon NVR servers will be connected to network switches, so that any PC with the Avigilon Control Center (ACC) management software installed will have access to remote viewing. The video management software can be downloaded onto any PC and/or mobile device at no cost to MNPS and with no requirement for software update costs/fees, nor software maintenance agreements or license renewals. It would be the preference of MNPS to not be required to carry annual maintenance agreements or to pay upgrade fees, but in lieu of that, upgrades to software shall not require maintenance agreements or upgrade fees for revisions within the currently operating major version of the software/firmware...
