Progress reports with documentation forms and service tracking. Medicaid Billing - Comply with all requirements (and any revisions of such) set forth by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and any other state, local or federal agency governing the School Health and Related Services (SHARS) program and services (including documentation requirements). Have the capacity to fully implement all aspects of the SHARS reimbursement services within the time frame established by the District. Have an internal systemic capacity of validating all SHARS requirements for billing to Include but not limited to: • Parental consent to bill • Existence of a current Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) that authorizes the frequency and duration of school health and related services • Verification of licensure and certifications for all service providers • Verification of prescription for services provided to students • Verification of referral for services provided to students • Verify Medicaid eligibility weekly. Provide, and agree to furnish all NISD billing and related data as requested by NISD in support of audits or reviews, must include required documentation key components. Provide a software demonstration that illustrates the use of your Medicaid Billing systems to include personal care services, transportation and other related services and a sample of the reports generated. Provide a sample copy of the services or reports to complete the annual SHARS cost report, reports include - but not limited to: • Student Medicaid Eligibility (include start and end dates) • Claims Submission • Rejected and/or denied claims • IEP Ratio • Transportation Ratio • Certification of Funds • Procedure and diagnosis codes Provide electronic bills for services provided for all eligible Medicaid Students to Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership (TMHP). Provide the types of education and training to school employees concerning the SHARS program in order to help maximize efforts and funds available to the District. Provide hard copy samples of required documentation, session notes, nursing logs, transportation logs, etc. Explain system software notifications.
