Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall furnish and service the following types of containers: 1. Eight (8) cubic yard “Trash Only” self-contained dumpster with doors and a lid 2. Forty (40) cubic yard “Trash Only” self-contained dumpster 3. Thirty-five (35) cubic yard “Cardboard Only” self-contained compactor 4. Forty (40) cubic yard self-contained “Wood Only” dumpster A. The containers shall be delivered within 24-hours after the issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). All containers shall include the Contractor’s name, telephone number and "Unauthorized use of this Dumpster is Prohibited" neatly stenciled on the container. “Trash Only” shall be neatly stenciled on each side of the dumpster in accordance with the Scope of Work. “Cardboard Only” shall be neatly stenciled on each side of the dumpster in accordance with the Scope of Work. “Wood Only” shall be neatly stenciled on each side of the dumpster in accordance with the Scope of Work. B. The Contractor shall be held responsible for the cleanliness and repair of all containers and compactors. Any dumpster displaying graffiti shall be cleaned, painted, and/or removed within twenty-four (24) hours of written notification by the authorized representative of the Authority. All self-contained containers shall have the drainage holes plugged to prevent infestation of rodent harborage. The Contractor shall transport all recyclables to the appropriate facility for processing. Any dumpster showing damage that, in the judgement of MARTA’s Office of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) allows rainwater or other liquids to escape the dumpster, or any other damage that negatively affects MARTA’s compliance with the Industrial General Permit (GAR050000) for stormwater, shall be replaced by the Contractor within twenty-four (24) hours of written notification by the authorized representative of the Authority. The Contractor shall provide MARTA with a Verification of Haul (VOH) via email for all containers hauled, which includes date and location of haul. This information must be submitted to the Contract Inspector or his/her designee by the close of business on the day of haul. Failure to provide documentation can result in a delay of payment. The Contractor shall provide monthly reports which include waste hauling and disposal digital records provided to the MARTA Contract Inspector or his/her designee by the fifth (5th) of every month. The report will provide data to benchmark MARTA’s recycling progress, in tonnage, volume, type of recyclables, CNG and carbon footprint reduction matrix.
