Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1st Floor Mechanicals Air Conditioning 1. All contractors will assess the entire building areas during the walk-through. Contractors will have their mechanical engineer design and size all heating and cooling unitsincluding but not limited to electrical, low voltage, drainage, and thermostats. The selected contractor will have stamped drawing/print or whatever is necessary for the Building Department approval. Contractor will purchase and install Mitsubishi mini split system or equal. Contractor will ensure all newly install mini-split systems are installed up to current building codes and supported property. Some areas of the daycare will have more than one zone and heads for efficient heating and cooling. All contractors will have their necessary subcontractors come with them to the walk through including but not limited to electrical HVAC, and plumbing. 2. Contractor will remove the existing HVAC ceiling units wiring that is connected to the existing breakers in the electrical room and connect the new mini split units if possible. It’s the sole responsibly of the contractor to do all that’s needed for the full and correct installation of all the new Mitsubishi or equal mini split units on the 1st & 2nd floors. • Contractor will purchase and install all mini-split units of appropriate size to accommodate all areas replacing the existing HVAC unit or units in daycare ceiling areas. Contractor will install all controls for the proper heating and cooling for main/1st floor daycare areas. Toddler rooms(A & C) Toddler room (D). Infant rooms(A & B) already have a mini-split system that is currently being used for heating and cooling. Contractor will include heads/cassettes on 1st floor in the existing front lobby and rear hallway from toddler rooms (A, C & D) also in kitchen/storage area as part of their installation. • Contractor will include all start up along with all other mechanical trades including but not limited to HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. • Contractor will remove any ceiling insulation, grids, and tiles to do all necessary installation. Contractor will replace any ceiling tiles, grids and insulation that is damage during the installation of the mini-split units. Contractor will do all that’s needed for a complete job. Contractor will include start up and (1) year warranty on all parts and labor and an extended warranty from the manufacturer. Contractor will ensure that proper staff knows how to operate all units. Contractor will leave all unit instruction with owners.
