The City of Cedartown has received a Trees Across Georgia grant for the purposes of, among other things, inventorying public trees and creating a Storm Mitigation Plan during 2024. This Scope of Services describes, generally, a project to be performed by an urban forestry consultant for Cedartown. In response to the Request for Price and Proposals, the consultant will refer to this Scope of Services to describe in more detail how they will perform this project along with related outcomes. Ideally the project will serve as a model for how other small communities can produce a useful tree inventory, develop a practical tree storm mitigation plan, and use both as a step in creating a budget wise community tree management plan.
