Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Preventative Maintenance (PM) as recommended per Honda’s Preventative Maintenance Schedule. 2. Repairs and replacement of parts and fluids not covered under the designated Preventative Maintenance Schedule. a) All parts and fluids are to be new (Honda Preferred). b) Honda parts / equipment preferred, unless unavailable. c) Only Honda oil is to be used. d) Obtain approval from METRO Police Department’s Management prior to performing repairs and replacing equipment / parts not covered by Preventative Maintenance. Documentation is to include Officer’s name, motorcycle plate number, motorcycle number, services performed, date of service, Mileage, METRO’s authorization to perform services not covered under Preventative Maintenance, and breakdown of all charges. No additional shop charges are allowed. f) It’s imperative to have our officers patrolling the City therefore we require all services be completed within 24 hours, should services exceed twenty-four (24) hours the awarded vendor is to notify METRO Management of the delay immediately.
