Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Environment and Conservation – Tennessee State Parks, would like to gather information regarding availability of wastewater treatment monitoring contractors located within 100 miles of David Crocket Birthplace State Park. The potential contractor must be certified by the State of Tennessee as Water and Wastewater Operators. The potential contractor will monitor the wastewater treatment facility at David Crockett Birthplace State Park and follow all wastewater monitoring procedures laid out by the State of Tennessee, Department of Environment and Conservation. Generally, the State provides maintenance to the grounds around the facility and the removal of garbage, arranges for and bears costs for sludge removal, provides chemicals and other agents necessary for the proper treatment of effluent wastewater, and maintains, repairs, or replaces treatment plant physical components.
