Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Hawaii State Department of Health Emergency Medical Services & Injury Prevention System Branch (hereinafter referred to as “DOH”) is soliciting proposals from experienced and qualified emergency medical service (EMS) providers (hereinafter referred to as the “Provider” or “Applicant” depending on context) to provide comprehensive ground emergency medical services for residents and visitors of the County of Kauai. The contract term will be for a four-year period beginning January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2028. The contract may be extended for a period not to exceed a total of six (6) years. The extension option shall be exercised only if the Provider is successful in meeting all terms and conditions in the agreement and approval is granted by the DOH.
