Specifications include, but are not limited to: Harris County is seeking to secure the services of a qualified and experienced vendor to provide lactation support and services for ACCESS Harris lactation support and services for ACCESS Harris. Harris County Public Health aims to implement comprehensive participant education, screenings, consultations, and escalation responses as needed, as pertain to lactation services. The primary focus of this service contract is on improving wellness outcomes, enhancing participant understanding, and facilitating seamless referrals for specialized care in relation to lactation services. Vendors shall with collaborate with ACCESS staff, provide monthly reports summaries on the services provided, and asneeded quality assurance updates on services provided, the service contract partner shall also provide ACCESS Harris participants with the following services: Prenatal Consultations One (1) on One (1) • Prenatal Consultation shall be planned in a timely manner based on participant needs and best practices. • Address feeding concerns, develop personalized breastfeeding plans, and provide education on breastfeeding basics. • Establish a trusted provider-patient relationship. Postnatal Consultations One (1) on One (1) • Postnatal educational classes shall be planned in a timely manner based on participant needs and best practices. • Provide one-on-one postnatal sessions, reaching out to parents within critical timeframes such as: within seventy-two (72) hours of hospital discharge, at the three (3) to four (4) week postnatal mark, and four (4) to six (6) weeks before they return to work. • Provide group postnatal sessions, reaching out to parents within critical timeframes such as: within seventy-two (72) hours of hospital discharge, at the three (3) to four (4) week postnatal mark, and four (4) to six (6) weeks before the return to work. • Enhance the participant's community by facilitating collaborative discussion and support systems within group session settings. • Sessions shall be provided in the parent's preferred language...
