Specifications include, but are not limited to: Shawnee County is soliciting sealed bids for prescription safety eyewear for employees of Public Works, Solid Waste, Parks + Recreation, Noxious Weed, and Department of Corrections. Approximately 20 pairs of safety glasses are needed annually. The county does not guarantee any specific quantity or number of purchases, that will be made during the agreement period. • Bidder shall provide prescription safety eyewear in conformance with America National Standards Institute, Inc. (ANSI). ANSI Z87.1 standards • A facility located with-in Shawnee County must be available for fitting of said eyewear. Include a list of all locations, hours of business, and contact phone number with your quotation. • Prices quoted shall be inclusive of all delivery, administration, dispensing fees, and base price for Single Vision, Bifocal, Trifocal, and Occupational strength lenses in the base frame. Detachable side shields shall be included with all frames. • Ability to work with different departments with varying requirements and price limits. • Eyeglasses are to be furnished with cases.
