Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Vendor will grade and level the compound prior to installation of concrete pads, fencing, etc. Vendor will refer to the Site’s Construction Drawings for Material Specifications. 2. Vendor will provide and install grounding loop around the building pad and ground the shelter, HVAC units, building TELCO board, generator, the four corner fence posts and all gate posts to it. A ground conductor must be installed between all gate posts and the movable gate sections. 3. Install building pad and concrete landing with 18-inch turndown on outside edges in accordance with construction drawings. Install re-bar in pad per construction drawings. Size of pad will be defined in Price list. 4. Install tower backup power pad 5’6” x 9’6” for a 40 KW Diesel generator with approximately 300-gallon tank attached. Pad to be minimum 12 inches on outer edges and must have #4 re-bar running the length and width on 12-inch centers and within 6 inches of outside edges. 5. The building can be a precast concrete or lightweight metal built-onsite building. The building will be prewired internally. There will be penetrations on the building for connecting the incoming commercial power, the standby generator power, the standby generator control circuits, and the standby generator block heater. In addition to all wiring materials on the exterior of the building, the Vendor will be required to provide an approved meter base and the exterior disconnect for the emergency generator. 6. The building and generator will be transported by the building supplier to the site. a) For precast buildings, the Vendor will be responsible for transfer of building and generator from supplier’s truck and installing them on the building and generator pad. This will include all Cranes, skids, extra trailers, bulldozers, etc. that are required to install the building. b) For lightweight metal built-onsite buildings, the Vendor will be responsible for transfer of generator from supplier’s truck and installing it on the generator pad. The Vendor is not responsible for the offload and assembly of the built-onsite building. 7. Once the vendor coordinates the delivery of the building with the supplier and the building is delivered onsite, any delays to set the building will be the responsibility of the civil vendor to include storage of the building and all unloading by the civil vendor.
