Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Division of Forestry and Wildlife (DOFAW) is seeking bids for constructing ungulateproof fences, as well as associated tasks such as clearing the fence corridor and fabricating step-through gates and a vehicle drive through gate. The successful bidder will enter into a contract with the State of Hawaii from which fence projects will be executed with a State of Hawaii Purchase Order (PO). DOFAW will supply the following materials of the following specifications to complete fence installation, including: o Fence rolls (Apron) – 832-6-12.5: 300-ft roll x 32” high tensile steel woven Bezinal or Galfan coated titegrip hog wire fabric or equivalent, greater than Class III coating. o Fence wire - Woven wire, 2096-6-12.5: 330-ft roll x 96” high tensile steel woven Bezinal or Galfan X-Fence 6XLIFE coated hog wire fabric or equivalent, greater than Class III coating, without clear coat. o Single strand wire - Galvanized steel straight wire Benzinal coating or equivalent Class III coating or better, standard grade. o T- Posts w/ anchors - Galvanized steel posts: T-133 posts 10’ in length. Certified – ASTM RR-F-221/3A; Certified Galvanizing per ASTM 123, with anchor plate. o Pipe – Galvanized steel 2 7/8” OD for in-line brace and posts; 2 3/8” OD for cross bracing of H-braces. o Anchor Posts (Deadman) - Galvanized steel posts: T-133 posts 24” in length. Certified ASTM RR-F-221/3A; Certified Galvanizing per ASTM 123, with anchor plate, ¼” hole 6 inches from the top. o Fence Panels - Hot dipped, galvanized 50”x16’ combination panels, 5 gauge. (used for tie-ins and edges for stream crossings or cliff edges).
