Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Contractor shall obtain all necessary permits, including environmental approvals. B. The Contractor will be responsible for all traffic control, which shall be in accordance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). C. The Contractor is responsible for identifying and avoiding all existing utilities, will comply with Georgia 811 requirements, and will coordinate with the owner on all locations where the plant will be installed. D. It is the sole financial burden of the Contractor to repair any damages caused by their negligence. E. Sub-surface installation of conduit, primarily using horizontal directional drilling, plowing, and trenching, including the location of existing utilities through potholing and permanent surface restoration. F. Installation of underground handholes and ground rods, including permanent paved surface restoration. G. Contractor is responsible for placing fiber optic cable and tracer wire in new conduits, placing fiber optic cable in existing conduits, installing fiber splice enclosures and fiber splicing, installing all associated labeling per labeling standards, and placing and assembling fiber termination panels and related hardware. H. The Contractor shall be responsible for cutting and patching all paved surfaces disturbed by this work. Sub-base material shall be replaced, and the surface restored to match the existing surrounding pavement. The depth of the patch shall match the surrounding pavement. The Contractor shall provide concrete or asphalt as required for each specific area. I. The Contractor will provide Quazite polymer concrete in-grade handhole or equivalent, 50' of spare OSP cable in the handhole, tier 22-rated handholes with lids, 3" of crushed stone base under the box, and 1" of crushed stone fill in the bottom.
