Specifications include, but are not limited to: NOLA-PS is seeking a Licensed professionals to perform grounds keeping services for designated building and sites. The selected vendor will be responsible for maintaining an aesthetically pleasing and functional outdoor space by maintaining green spaces by weeding, trimming, pruning, and any additional task required by specific sites. (See Exhibit A for specific sites) SPECIFICATIONS: 1. Vendor shall maintain grass areas in accordance with the customary industry standards for public, and private elementary, and secondary schools in urban, and suburban neighborhoods of the Metropolitan Area of New Orleans. 2. Vendor shall furnish, maintain, and store at its expense all equipment, vehicles, supplies, materials, and fuel necessary to perform the services described herein. 3. Vendor shall furnish, at its expense, all training, supervision, labor, including all direct and indirect labor costs, necessary to perform the services described herein. 4. Services for school yards, administrative sites, vacant lots, leased sites and athletic fields shall include the following services as needed with the frequency herein specified: a. Grass mowing, as specified in (7) and (33) below; b. Edging and trimming parking lots, driveways, sidewalks, and the perimeters of buildings and playground equipment cushioning, including cracks in hard surfaces; c. Trimming grass and removing weeds from under, on, and around portable classrooms, sheds, unattached buildings, gas and other utility meters, playground equipment , trees, shrubs, HVAC and electrical equipment, flagpoles, fences, bleachers, hard surfaces, TV satellite dishes, drains, curbs, signs, etc.; d. Trimming of shrubs seasonally as appropriate to the size and species of specimens, and removing all weeds, voluntary tree seedlings, etc., from within and around shrubbery; e. Trimming annually of all trees with hanging limbs lower than 15 feet above ground level; f. Removing all vegetation(s) and vines growing up or on buildings, downspouts, etc; g. Removal of fallen leaves and branches along the curb line or roadway of the facility.
