Specifications include, but are not limited to: The supplier shall provide charter bus transportation services for the 2024-2025 season as specified herein for the Louisiana State University Shreveport Athletic Department (hereinafter referred to as the LSUS), in accordance with the terms and conditions of this solicitation. LSUS reserves the right to charter buses for any LSUS Department during the course of this contract for any event or trip that may arise. LSUS RESPONSIBILITIES: • LSUS will provide overnight accommodation (hotel and meals) for the driver. • LSUS will try to provide the supplier with the location, date, and time of departure and approximate return time at least (30) days in advance for each event. However, due to game schedule changes, etc. it is sometimes not feasible to know 30 days in advance when or where a team may be traveling. When this occurs, LSUS will notify the bus company as soon as we are aware of a schedule change. The supplier must have charter buses and personnel available on short notice (one to three days) for changes in schedule and participation in post-season events, such as the RRAC (Red River Athletic Conference) Tournament, Region XIII Tournament, Super Regional, and NAIA College World Series. • See Attachment A for the 2023-2024 season’s travel dates. The travel dates for 2024-2025 have not been finalized but will be similar to the previous year. Attachment A is included in order to show the frequency of trips for each sport. New schedules for each sport will be given to the supplier as soon as they are available. TRIP INFORMATION: • All trips will originate and terminate on the Louisiana State University Shreveport campus. • The driver and motor coach must report to the designated location at least 30 (thirty) minutes prior to the scheduled time of departure. • Prior to departing, driver(s) should obtain directions and map out travel for all destinations including travel within a city.
