Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Removal of selected building materials and components, including selected existing fire protection, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems. 2. Offsite disposal of all removed materials. 3. Renovations of existing restrooms include, but are not limited to: a. Removal and replacement of existing toilet partitions and accessories. b. Removal of existing cmu walls and replacement with new gypsum board partitions in new locations. c. Removal and replacement of existing floor, wall, and ceiling finishes. d. Removal and replacement of existing door, frames, and hardware. e. Removal and replacement of existing plumbing fixtures, piping, and associated components. f. Cutting and patching of existing concrete slab as required. g. Removal and replacement of existing signage. h. Modification of existing hydronic piping, ductwork, and diffusers to accommodate new work. i. Provision and installation of new roof mounted exhaust fan, including cutting existing roofing system/decking and patching to match existing in-kind. j. Removal and replacement of existing light fixtures, wiring, and associated components. k. Disconnection, removal, and relocation of existing occupancy sensors, emergency battery inverter, and fire alarm devices. l. Removal of existing alarm bells and all associated components. m. Provision and installation of new call-for-aid system. 4. Renovations to existing entrances include, but are not limited to: a. Removal and replacement of existing entrances, frames, and hardware. b. Provision and installation of new cmu partition. c. Patch and repair existing floor and wall materials to match in-kind where affected by demolition d. Painting of new materials and surrounding areas. 5. Removal and replacement of ceiling system and light fixtures, along with modifications of existing ductwork and diffusers to accommodate new ceilings and soffit in Teacher’s Lounger/Life Ed.
