The contractor shall furnish all labor, insurance, supervision, equipment, materials, and consumables, at no additional cost to the City, necessary for the provision of Testing and Inspection of Fire Suppression Systems to include Pre-Action Sprinkler and Clean Agent systems, complying with all current code requirements including National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 72, City of Phoenix Fire Codes, and DOT regulations. The contractor will provide testing and inspection twice a year. The work is located in the Phoenix Convention Center West and North Buildings. The work includes but is not limited to the following: A. System Manufacturers include: • Fike Cheetah XI panels (2-each) • Fike SHP control panels (1-each) • Tyco Pre-Action/ Potter Releasing Control Panel (3-each). B. The city has the right to add or remove equipment at its discretion. C. Inspection to include any firmware or control updates available from the system manufacturer, to maintain system functionality or meet current code requirements. D. Inspections shall include testing all field devices i including: • Smoke detectors. • Manual pull stations. • Heat detectors. • Output functions, (excluding actual filling of dry sprinkler pipe or discharge of suppression agent). • Cleaning/sensitivity testing of smoke detectors as approved by manufacturer; cleaning of all other field located equipment per NFPA 72 required testing methods.
