Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Scope of Work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials for the reconstruction of failing sewer lines, installation and removal of selected manholes and sewer lines, and pavement mill and overlay. Allwork shall be performed in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents prepared by RAUCH, Inc., design engineer. Work includes the replacement of approximately 1,233linear feet of existing sewer mains located along Old Wharf Lane in Queenstown, MD. Due to location of existing water lines and the limitations related to horizontal separation, the replacement sewer mains will be installed following existing sewer main alignments and at existing invert depths. The existing sewer mains along Old Wharf Lane are cracked and offset sections of VCP pipe. They have been field verified as significant sources of l&l and identified to be replaced with SDR-35 sewer main. Existing manholes will be removed and replaced with precast manholes, as specified on the plan set. NASCO Standards must be used for the sewer and manhole rehabilitation. The Contractor shall provide a cementitious restoration material designed for structural build-back, l&l abatement, corrosion resistance, and repairing inverts to design requirements. All materials applied to a structure shall be compatible, as specified by the manufacturer. Contractor shall make every effort to keep residents in service for as long as possible during sewer replacement. This may be accomplished through replacing short sections of pipe at a time, working downstream to upstream, plugging upstream sections of pipe and bypass pumping from the upstream manhole. Contractor is responsible for delivering door hangar notifications to residents that specify work times that may result in disruption of service. All work shall be performed and completed within ninety (g0) calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. Roadway and curb restoration work shall comply with the Town of Queenstown standard specifications.
