Specifications include, but are not limited to: DSCI seeks organizations to provide assistance and training to Host Site Partner Mentors. Successful offerors shall leverage best practices and evidence-based frameworks that are collaborative, integrated, and results-focused. Services may include the following: a. Required Services: i. Group training - Host Site Partners’ mentors: Training focused on strategies and tactics for individuals to become effective mentors. Training shall be available both in-person and remote. ii. Group training - Program Members. Training focused on character-building and growth mindset to take advantage of the Program’s mentoring opportunities. Training shall be available both in-person and remote. iii. Group training - combined Program Mentors/Mentees. Training focused on activities to build trust and rapport and maximize opportunities for a successful mentor/mentee relationship. Training shall be available both inperson and remote. iv. Mentoring Technical Assistance/Support. Provide additional technical assistance/support as requested for Host Site Partners, Program Members, and DSCI staff. These services will be provided remotely. v. Evaluation of Training Outcomes: Implement an evaluation plan to obtain feedback about mentoring training and assistance. vi. In-Person Service locations may be in any of the four regions of the State. b. Optional Services: i. DSCI Staff Training: Provide group training services regarding best practices for mentors and member support staff. ii. Mentor-Mentee Matching Program: Assist in the development of a MentorMentee Matching Program for both current and former Program participants. iii. Provide staff to act as Mentors/Success Coaches for current or former Members of the Program. At Contractor’s expenses, staff hired for these Services must have successfully completed a Level 2 background check. Adverse findings will be submitted to DSCI for review and approval. DSCI’s decision will be final and not subject to further review. iv. Miscellaneous: Other services could include, without limitation, developing Program materials and providing advice regarding a framework for complying with mentoring services as the Program continues to grow.
