Specifications include, but are not limited to: The designated area to be maintained shall consist of: 1. State Route 400 beginning at the bridge crossing the Chattahoochee River and extending south approximately 9.3 miles to the City of Atlanta City Limits. All areas are to include both North and South bound shoulders, all on and off ramps, as well as overpasses. 2. Interstate 285 beginning at the Chattahoochee River bridge at the Sandy Springs/Cobb County Line and extending east 5.9 miles to the Perimeter Center Parkway overpass to include both East and West bound shoulders. The work shall consist of providing the necessary labor and materials for the following: 1. Trimming of vegetation from around roadside obstacles and their proximities that occur within the designated mowing area, 2. Trimming around all fixed objects, including but not limited to guardrails, delineators, signs, culvert headwalls, bridge abutments and bridge piers, is required and shall be performed concurrently with the mowing operation. 3. Removal and disposal of litter and debris from roadside rights of way within the designated area. The completion of all of the above-mentioned work within the designated area, deemed satisfactory to the City, will be considered completion of the required maintenance. 4. Contractor will perform mowing and litter removal between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. weekdays or Saturdays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The crew minimum is three people.
