Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project consists of restoration of a project site that has been used for dewatering and storage of dredged materials from a recently completed Federal and Local dredging project. As the plans show, the site consists of built-up dewatering berms and dredged materials. The purpose of the project is to regrade the site, leaving both dredged materials and berm fill material on the property. The project also includes some minor clearing and grubbing, and removal of rip-rap boulder stones to be stored at a nearby City facility (6.4 miles round trip), and sod installation in accordance with the plans. The project work is currently undergoing a modification of its existing Environmental Resource Permit (ERP) through the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) which is currently being modified to synchronize with this proposed work. The ERP Modification is occurring parallel to this bid and shall be provided to the contractor when completed. Respondents should assume the work as proposed in the bid package has been approved by the FDEP and any changes will be reported or negotiated if necessary.
