Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor shall furnish all permits, labor, equipment, tools, supervision, materials and incidentals required to complete the Work in accordance with the Plans, Specifications and terms as more fully described in the Contract Documents, including but not limited to the following: • All asphalt trail repairs and repaving work along the BV trail for this project will fall within per-approved archeological repairs and maintenance specifications identified in SHPO case # 20-0891 and supporting response letter (on file); • This project is intended to repave six bridge approaches (3bridges), one road crossing (both sides) and a section of linear trail heading south starting at Pongratz road through the Tolke property as far as the funding will allow; • All surface level pavement to be removed by contractor and disposed of offsite being careful not to remove existing gravel substrate; • Pavement sections being replaced are existing 3" thick x 8' wide trail sections to be replaced with same specifications as to not change the alignment or elevation of the existing railroad grade; • Final compaction of pavement and 3/4 minus gravel to meet normal industry compaction standards; • Pavement approaches at bridge crossings should flare to 10' where it intersects with bridges and should be level with the walking surface of the bridge; • Approaches need to meet predetermined lengths, be a smooth transition, and should not exceed 6 percent slope at any point as per existing design standards; • Bridge approaches and trial sections if needed can add 3/4 minus crushed gravel to fill any void areas from water erosion or settling on top of existing substrate within the existing footprint and design of the railroad grade and adjacent trail;
