Proposal Evaluation Criteria Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria: • Proposal Pricing • Time to complete request • Quality of Bid / Did bid meet specs? Alternate Bid Options for Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Electro Deionization (EDI) Water Purification System Bid Alternate Option 1: Insulation of RO Water Lines: • Insulate all exposed RO water lines in the RO Water Filtration System equipment space to protect from UV exposure using elastomeric foam pipe insulation for refrigeration, HVAC, and plumbing. Bid Alternate Option 2: Installation of Speed Drives: and pressure transducers on the floors. • Install speed drives being Yaskawa or ABB and wire in booster pumps located in the RO Water Filtration System equipment space currently being utilized for pressure regulation to each floor from the main supply. If the vendor would like to provide another brand or type of equipment other than specified in the request, they must submit documentation providing information that states the proposed equipment used in place of the requested will work the same way as the original spec’d equipment was intended to. This documentation must include a cut sheet providing data on performance, installation, and operation of the suggested replacement product.
