Specifications include, but are not limited to: establish a contract for qualified selected consultants specializing in environmental consulting services that includes conducting assessments of building materials for the presence of asbestos or lead-based paint and conducting oversight of the abatement of these materials. All work will be required to meet federal, state, and local regulatory requirements as well City of Mesa policies, project specifications, and standard operating procedures (see Exhibit 2 and Exhibit 3). Consultants responding to this Solicitation must identify their expertise in each element of the scope of work provided below. Specific elements of the scope of work associated with this Solicitation include the following: Asbestos Assessments (Comprehensive Inspections, Re-Certification Inspections, Limited Inspections) Lead Paint Assessments (Comprehensive and Limited Inspections) Lead Paint Waste Characterization Assessments Asbestos and Lead Paint Abatement Oversight Emergency Response for Asbestos or Lead Paint Assessments and/or Abatement Oversight
