Specifications include, but are not limited to: Objective 1: Community Engagement Notify and collect feedback from property owners on potential sidewalk designs Public materials should be provided in English and Spanish Objective 2: Sidewalk Improvement Design Attend pre-design meetings Create construction development plan Complete a comprehensive design of the proposed construction of new sidewalks and crosswalks Provide designs for improvements to existing pedestrian infrastructure Identify and note points of conflict with design, including private parcels, removal of trees, or other extenuating circumstances. Objective 3: Regulation Review Conduct a review of local, state, and federal regulations and recommendations around pedestrian infrastructure Identify ADA and local accessibility standards to be implemented in the design Ensure all designs adequately reflect appropriate regulations and requirements Objective 4: Construction Recommendations Provide recommendations for construction contractor Interpret plans and specifications for contractor
