Specifications include, but are not limited to: For all PWA sites and SFC sites Contractor shall: 1. Have and maintain a valid MPCA SSTS Business License per MPCA Chapter 7080 as well as all required insurance. 2. Deliver and set up all units at each site no later than 4:00 PM on the Friday before the spring walleye fishing season opener. 3. Monitor all units throughout the time of service as specified by the Service Level specifications assigned to that site. 4. Service the units weekly as scheduled to include: pumping out and recharging holding tank, disinfect and wipe down unit interior, restock with toilet paper, refilling the hand sanitizer dispenser, and remove trash within the unit. 5. Pump all units as frequently as necessary to ensure that vault capacities are not reached and provide additional checks and cleaning service as needed within 72 hours of the notification call (or email) from the DNR Project Supervisor to the Contractor. This intermittent service includes weekdays, weekends, and holiday weekends. 6. Haul away and dispose of trash within the unit. Trash shall be disposed of in accordance with MPCA rules and regulations. 7. Post a log sheet inside the unit to log dates of service. A copy of this log sheet must be provided to the DNR Project Supervisor if it is requested. 8. Pick up and remove all units within seven days following the end of the day on September 30, 2024 and 2025. 9. For Bowstring NE Site, pick up and remove Standard Unit within seven days following the end of the day on June 10, 2024 and 2025. For all PWA sites and SFC sites Toilet Units should 1. Be aesthetically pleasing so as not to conflict with the visual character of the site. Earth tones are preferred. 2. Be in good condition with no holes through exterior walls or leaky roofs. The State reserves the right to determine if condition is acceptable and to reject any units on that basis. 3. Toilets shall be of plastic construction. 4. Have interior latch for privacy. 5. Provide maximum ventilation with floor vents, window vents, and a high volume vent pipe. 6. Sanitary seat deck and floor design. 7. Anti-slip floor surface. 8. No dangerous protrusions, edges, or catch points. 9. Have nonporous interior surface to prevent bacterial absorption. 10. Have outside emergency access to prevent trapped children. 11. Include a hand sanitizer dispenser. 12. Contractor, at their own expense, shall repair damaged vandalism to any unit immediately or replace the unit within one day. 13. ADA Compliant Units must meet current ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) accessible guidelines.
