The Public Campaign Finance Board (PCFB) Enforcement Division has jurisdiction over all participating candidates running for Statewide office (Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General and State Comptroller) as well as State Senate and State Assembly candidates. The PCFB Enforcement Division enforces instances of failure to file certain mandatory reports and conducts hearings and investigations. Part of the enforcement process is to serve candidates and treasurers with the notice of enforcement, notice of hearing and other related documents. As such, the Enforcement Division requires a process server to serve candidates and treasurers residing in New York State. There are three periodic filings, three primary filings and three general election filings that may require process servers to serve candidates and treasurers should they fail to file the required report. The estimated quantities used on the Quote Proposal Form required pursuant to this RFQ are intended to weigh regional prices across the state based on an anticipated higher use in metropolitan areas. Upon submission of a final attempt(s) of service, a flat rate of $50 will be payable to the Contractor; however, no attempt fee is payable in addition to a service fee where service is eventually effectuated. Proposer must effectuate service of process throughout New York State and all of its 62 Counties, as well as out of State on a case-by-case basis, and must comply with all relevant federal, state, and local laws and rules, including, but not limited to the New York Civil Practice Law and Rules.
