Specifications include, but are not limited to: 4. REMOVAL, DISPOSAL AND SITE RESTORATION 4.1 The Vendor shall remove from the site and dispose of all material, debris, replacement materials in accordance with all Local, State and Federal regulations. 4.1.1 Vendors are strongly encouraged to recycle metal, concrete, and any other material in order to reduce the amount of waste going to the Landfill. 5. STUDIO UPGRADE REQUIREMENTS 5.1 Vendor must comply with the following information throughout the completion of the project provided they do not interfere with the other documents attached to the bid. 5.1.1 Any deviation from the bid documents which may arise during installation must be addressed and approved by the Project Manager prior to completion of work, with a contract amendment being issued by UCM. 5.2 The materials, products and equipment described in the bid establish a standard of required function, dimension, appearance, and quality to be met by any proposed substitution. 5.2.1 Any request for substitution of the products listed must be submitted to the Procurement Department at least five (5) days prior to bid closing. 5.2.2 Requests for substitutions will be addressed via an addendum to all Vendors through the Ebid system. 5.2.3 No substitutions will be considered after the contract award unless specifically provided for in contract documents. 5.3 The Vendor is responsible for obtaining and paying of all fees and charges associated with permits or licenses required to complete the work for this project. 5.4 Vendors will be given a location to park vehicles and stage equipment during the term of the project. 5.4.1 Vendors must acquire a parking permit at the Public Safety office on the UCM campus. Cost of parking permit is the responsibility of the vendor. 5.5 All work related to the project shall be included in the lump sum amount. 5.6 Vendor takes full responsibility for all their employees and any subcontractors who are hired to work on the project. 5.8 Contractor must coordinate work outside of normal business hours with Project Manager. 5.9 All equipment shall be deployed and fully operational prior to inspection and approval by UCM. 5.10 Vendor shall provide the following equipment and installation services which will be included in the cost listed in the Line Item: 5.10.1 Demolition, removal and disposal of the current studio light grid including all lights, pipes, grid extensions, electrical conduit, and all attached and sundry materials. 5.10.2 All materials and installation of a new 4x4 pipe grid (1.5-inch schedule 40 steel pipe with a powder coating finish) with wire trays to cover the studio floor. 5.10.3 Installation of 9 - 2X (18 outlets total) power junction box (110 Amp) in the light grid and connection to the Master Control power panel. 5.10.4 Single 80-foot run of horseshoe track with all track and track components to cover the studio cyclorama wall and the sides of the studio with drape. 5.10.5 Draping and all materials to hang/attach to the horseshoe track in the following sizes/colors. - Blackout drape 80 foot wide by 13 feet tall (this can be broken into multiple widths) - Chroma Green Drape 40 foot wide by 13 feet tall continuous. - Red Drape (UCM Red Color equivalents for Pantone 186, CMYK: 12/100/92/3, Web RGB: 207/35/46, HEX: #cf202e) or equivalent. 40 foot wide by 13 feet tall continuous. 5.10.6 Soundproof of Ceiling – 28 Bays with Sonopan, InsulQuilt or other like material. This needs to be black in color. 5.10.7 Repair and painting of the existing cyclorama wall. Final color to be determined. 5.10.8 Any and all engineering and construction materials. 5.10.9 Final drawings for the installation are required upon completion.
