The Washington State Patrol is seeking to procure a new scale truck with Test Unit Assembly (box and truck inclusive) to meet the growing needs of the agency and to replace current equipment prior to failure. The truck and box will need to be compatible with current agency requirements that will be provided during the procurement. 2024 Freightliner 114SD Plus (Or equivalent if compatible with needs required by the WSP) - Truck must spec factory PTO prep code with factory installed PTO controls and programming - Ref 372-036 (dash mounted PTO switch with indicator lamp – park brake interlock) - Ref 372-043 (dash mounted PTO switch with indicator lamp – park brake and neutral interlock) - Truck must spec Allision 4000 RDS Transmission - Approximately 9.18 GPM at 700 RPM, PTO at 147% engine speed, 2.17 CID pump (2500 PSI pressure relief) - Includes Chelsea PTO 280GGFJP-B5RK (147% paired with Allision 4000 RDS) - Includes 2.17 cubic inch displacement pump - Includes (1) return line filter head with filter element and filter gauge - Includes 35 gallon aluminum hydraulic saddle tank with stainless steel straps (tank is 19” long with ports inward to chassis) - Truck must have ample space to mount 19” long tank (prefer at least 24” clear frame space)
