Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Administration (DOA), Office of Procurement and Property Management (OPPM), is seeking information from qualified vendors for the design and construction of a storage mezzanine and restroom for the State of Alaska (SOA) property warehouse located in Anchorage. This request for information (RFI) does not guarantee future work. The information gathered will aid in conducting market research to ascertain the availability of resources. This RFI is seeking information from contractors who are qualified to manage a project to design and construct an approximately 1,500 square foot elevated mezzanine approximately 14’ above a concrete slab that is capable of holding up to 20,000 lbs. and a fully plumbed and enclosed restroom underneath the mezzanine. A mezzanine with a 4’ wide staircase leading up to the mezzanine level and 8-foot-wide removable railing system on two sides. The warehouse is a 100’ x 90’ x 30’ steel structure creating a pipe framework that supports the outside cladding and roof on a concrete slab. The structure is supported by 20 steel pillars, five along its length and four along its width. The pillars are spaced approximately 24’ apart along the length and 30’ apart along the width. There are overhead doors at two ends of the building centered with man doors on all four sides. Electrical is available within the building. There is an unknown water pipe in the building, and it is unknown if there are potable water pipes leading to the building.
