Specifications include, but are not limited to: This section outlines the scope of work included in the project. Refer to the appropriate drawings and specification sections for further information about installation, preparation methods, and components to be provided. The contract documents, otherwise referred to as drawings, shall serve as a part of this scope of work showing more detail on the intent of this project. The Contractor is responsible for including all means and methods necessary to complete this project. In general, the work includes, but is not limited to, the following items: 1. See Contract Drawings for a complete understanding of demolition and construction scope. This list is generic in nature for major items and intended only to give an overview of the general project scope. 2. The Site visit will be mandatory and very important for details of the project requirements. 3. Request for new tables in the crime lab section, the tabletops must be black and chemical resistant. The tables will need to have a heavy-duty steel frame and will need to be fastened to the floor (No wheels). During the walk-through potential bidders will be able to view the tabletop material and model number. 4. Two of the tables must be able to rise up and down to accommodate different sizes of heavy hoods that are approximately 6 ft long x 3 ft wide. DPS will provide the heavy hoods. 5. One table must be in an L shape totaling 21 ft long x 3 ft wide with drawers on each end. 6. One table must be approximately 10 ft 3 inches long by 3 ft wide with one set of drawers. 7. Any removal and/or relocation of the current desks/tables will be the responsibility of the Contractor unless DPS decides to remove or relocate them. 8. Any damages to current finishes during this process will be the responsibility of the Contractor. 9. Provide turnkey project as indicated on the statement of work and drawings and as required for a complete project.
