Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor is responsible for removal and disposal of existing equipment. Provision and installation of new walk‐in fridge, freezer and accessories. Contractor will hookup and start the condensing units on the roof of the building. This will require some related roofing work. The awarded contractor will be required to sub‐contract related roofing work to one of the existing Alpine School District roofing contracts to complete work. Kendrick Bros Roofing, Inc. and Utah Tile & Roofing, Inc. Contractor will need to relocate condensing units to the west side of the building on the ground, District will fence around units once completed. New boxesshould match the existing boxes dimensions (approximately 7’ deep, 22 ½’ wide x 8 ½’ tall, which freezer should be larger at 12’ of the 22 ½’) and include the following features: o 404A refrigerant preferred 448‐A is acceptable o Evaporators to have mechanical txv valves o Boxes to be manufactured by a manufacture that doesn’t use wood framing o No head master, fan cycling control preferred o 3ph condensing units o Door location and hinge (to be discussed at walkthrough) o White in / white out o Floors and ramps o New shelving green coated shelving, (layout to be discussed at walkthrough) o Door to be centered to walkways and must have windows o Matching side closures o District will provide a floor drain for evaporators to drain into o Fire suppression (to be discussed at walkthrough) The work to be done under this section includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment, including but not limited to any electrical, plumbing, refrigerant, core drilling, drains, heat tape, or other miscellaneous work required to provide a complete and functional facility.
