Educational partner to facilitate the development of both project-based learning tasks and performance assessments aligned to Utah’s science and social studies preschool to grade 12 (P-12) standards and the knowledge, skills, and dispositions. The intent is to create several examples available per grade level as models for teachers of effective instructional practice, to provide resources to educators that are of high quality and align to the rigor and intent of the state content standards, and to provide insight into student learning and understanding of the standards. More specifically, the USBE is looking for an educational partner to: • Support the development of a resource bank, seeded with high-quality performance assessments, • Provide professional learning that supports educators in developing project-based learning experiences and performance based assessments aligned to the standards, skills, and disposition competencies. • Formatting the resources generated from the development work into a useable, accessible format that can be amended during and after the partnership period between USBE and the educational partner.
