The Pennsylvania Game Commission, Northcentral Region, requires mowing treatment of Japanese Knotweed on USACE Tioga-Hammond Dam complexes. Services shall include, but not be limited to, the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, tools and equipment for the treatment of understory vegetation on approximately 68.7 acres of US Army Corps of Engineer Property at the Tioga-Hammond Dam complex. The area to be treated consists of Japanese Knotweed in thick and scattered patches on the flood plain next to the Crooked Creek water course between Hills Creek Rd and Hammond Lake. Treatments may utilize Low Ground Pressure tracked mowing equipment, however most areas will require hand cutting equipment due to terrane, accessibility, and environmental sensitivity around the Crooked Creek Water Course.
