Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Cutting height: Two (2) inches during growing season and 3 inches for dry season; b. Rake; Rake and remove all grass trimmings from sidewalks, stairs, lawns, etc.; c. Debris: Contractor will be responsible for removing all debris related to these services on CAMPUS; d. Disposal of Debris: Contractor is not to use campus dumpsters for debris, clippings etc.; e. Equipment Safety: Guards must be used on all mowers; f. Courtyard in Davidson Hall must be cut with battery operated equipment; g. Fencing: Remove vegetation 5 feet on both sides of fencing on all fenced areas on CAMPUS. Weed vegetation products must be approved by CENTRAL. After application, residual weeds must be manually removed; h. Cutting Frequency: CCSU intends to require lawn mowing approximately once a week during the “growing” season, and usually less than once per week after September 1 as the grass grows slower. This is an approximate schedule. CCSU reserves the right to request additional or less cuts as needs, conditions, and campus events dictate.
