Ferric Chloride (FeCl3) 375 tons, more or less, of Ferric Chloride, to be delivered to the Water Pollution Control Facility at 27 Pond Street North as required in 4,7000 gallon tank truck into one of two (2) 6,150 gallon storage tanks. The Ferric Chloride is to be in solution with a minimum of 37% Ferric Chloride. The balance of the solution is to have a maximum of 0.5% ferrous Chloride, 0.5% free acid, and 0.2% insoluble in a water base. The Ferric Chloride will have: Appearance- Orange-Brown liquid Concentration-Nominal 37% - 42% FeCl3 by weight in water Specific gravity at 30° C-1.38 – 1.49 Weight per gallon-11.5 pounds Freezing point-below 44° C-12.1 centipoise
