Specifications include, but are not limited to: Phase 1 – Strategic Planning Core Team • Work with MWVCAA’s leadership to establish a Strategic Planning Core Team that will manage the process, which should include the Agency Board, leadership, and department representation. • Define clear roles, expectations, and rules for the Strategic Planning Core Team. • It is expected that the proposer will work closely with the Strategic Planning Core Team via active communication and participation in regular meetings in-person. • Facilitate a Strategic Planning kickoff overview and training with the Agency Board, indicating the CSBG Organizational Standard requirements for their involvement, and how crucial their roles are in strategic planning and the implementation. • Facilitate Strategic Planning Core Team efforts to build a timeline of activity that leads to a July 1, 2025 launch of the new strategic plan. • Schedule a kickoff for the Agency Board to share an overview of the process and expectations. Phase 2 – Data Gathering, Analysis and Assessment • Reflect the needs, voices and interests of a changing and diverse community that should align with the mission of MWVCAA’s policies and implementation of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity (DEI). • Facilitate and engage with internal stakeholders to gather critical input for the strategic planning process via interviews, focus groups,surveys, and SWOT analysis. Take a lead role in developing other material that will advance the research and engagement work used to support development of the MWVCAA Strategic Plan.
