Specifications include, but are not limited to: Phase I – Scanning of Nome Historic Books • The Contractor must scan approximately 1,273 historic books, consisting of approximately 24,725 pages. Books are physically located in Nome, Alaska. DNR will provide onsite workspace and access contact to retrieve records for scanning. • The Contractor must provide three sample images utilizing the TIFF attachments in this RFP. Sample images must show improvements that align with the deliverables as outlined in SEC 3.02 DELIVERABLES. • The Contractor must provide a timeline indicating key milestones of the service being provided as well as payment installments. The timeline provided shall include the time necessary for DNR staff to proof the images being provided by the Contractor. • All materials submitted become the property of DNR and will not be returned. • Deadline for work to be completed: June 30, 2025. Phase II – Scanning of Juneau Historic Books • The Contractor must scan approximately 6,456 historic books, consisting of approximately 2,485,200 pages. Books are physically located in Juneau, Alaska. DNR will provide onsite workspace and access contact to retrieve records for scanning. • The Contractor must provide three sample images utilizing the TIFF attachments in this RFP. Sample images must show improvements that align with the deliverables as outlined in SEC 3.02 Deliverables. • The Contractor must provide a timeline indicating key milestones of the service being provided as well as payment installments. The timeline provided shall include the time necessary for DNR staff to proof the images being provided by the Contractor. • Work shall be contingent upon availability of DNR funding. • All materials submitted become the property of DNR and will not be returned. • Deadline for work to be completed: June 30, 2029. As Needed Scanning Services Additional scanning services for: missed records, and image repair from film to correct images already scanned shall be on an as needed basis and contingent upon availability of DNR Funding
