Specifications include, but are not limited to: West Virginia University (“WVU”) wishes to replace the horizontal sanitary piping in Brooke Tower Residence Hall serving the resident restrooms and public restrooms. To access the horizontal piping, a plumbing wall will need to be demolished requiring the renovation of existing restroom finishes. As part of this renovation, the intent will be to bring these spaces up to applicable code compliance. The vertical sanitary “stack” was previously replaced except for a few small areas. The tower consists of nine (9) floors of dormitory residence spaces inclusive of two (2) restroom groups per floor and on floors two, five and eight there are Resident Assistants (RA) residences with integral private bathrooms. The Main floor includes two (2) public restrooms, and the Ground floor includes two (2) smaller restroom groups. The renovations shall include plumbing, electrical, minor HVAC, Fire Alarm/Fire Protection, interior framing, interior finishes, waterproofing systems, doors, toilet partitions and accessories.
