Design, program and install a replacement control panel that houses a programmable controller (PLC) and operator interface terminal (OIT). Disassemble the old system, install, and test new system. Control Panel NEMA 4X stainless steel enclosure, approximately 36” h x 30” w x 10” d Allen-Bradley Micrologix 1500 PLC Allen-Bradley PanelView Plus 7 Standard OIT, 6”, color touchscreen Two sets dry contacts (relays) to signal the Building Automation System in case of an alarm or shutdown Audible alarm with silence button Virtual private network (VPN) device for TFC to remotely access the OIT. Connection of the VPN to the internet will be by TFC or others, not included in Hyperion’s scope. HAND/OFF/AUTO switch for the reverse osmosis (RO) supply pump Optionally, automatic control and HOA switches for the distribution pumps. Functions Automatic control of the RO supply pump based on level in the product storage tank. Tank level setpoints will be adjustable through the OIT. Automatically control the waste discharge solenoid On the OIT, present the following process variables: Feed water flowrate Feed water TDS Control Panel Feed water pH Feed water temperature Bypass flowrate Permeate flowrate. Usage (distribution) flowrate Waste flowrate Product TDS Storage tank level Alarms for each of the variables listed above. The OIT will allow the operator to change alarm setpoints and delays, and to disable alarms. Reuse the existing sensors, and transmitters if in good working condition. If a reused item needs to be replaced a contact person will be provided to consult with prior to purchase of item. No quick connects to be used.
