Specifications include, but are not limited to:2.00 Scope of Work The Glasgow State Nursing Facility (GSNF) seeks a qualified physician to fulfill the position of Facility Medical Director. 2.10 Deliverables A. Responsibilities: 1. Act as the Facility Medical Director and work under the direction of the Glasgow State Nursing Facility, Facility Director. 2. Ensure the provision of services and meet the mandatory requirements described herein and remain in compliance with the facility policies and procedures. 3. Maintain a license to practice medicine by the Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure for the length of employment in this position. 4. Maintain Board certification in the required specialty area of medicine for the length of employment in this position. 5. Attend any training that is required of the profession to maintain proper licensure and compliance (such as Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure and the American Medical Directors Association). Training and licensure costs are not reimbursable by the facility.
