• Removal of flood debris from dams and intake structures – This debris usually consists of trees and limbs that float into the intake structures. Removal may require cutting into manageable sized pieces, and retrieving and loading material with a thumb equipped excavator into trucks. • Removal of small to medium sized trees from earthen structures and emergency spillways. Trees are to be removed to ground level to facilitate mowing. Trees may be cut and/or otherwise removed with mechanized equipment. • Repair of ruts and erosion damage on earthen structures and spillways. This may require grading with a bulldozer, re-compaction with a non-vibratory roller, or other means as determined by supervising engineers. • Emergency work that may be needed after a storm event to make the structure function as designed.
