Specifications include, but are not limited to: professional and technical engineering services to perform bridge and tunnel inspections, Non-Redundant Steel Tension Member Inspections (NSTMs), Underwater Inspections, Tunnel Inspections, Training Services and Load Rating Services on a statewide basis, in accordance with 23 CFR 650 Part C, National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) and 23 CFR 650 Part E, National Tunnel Inspection Standards (NTIS). Must provide a minimum of two (2) inspection teams for concurrent bridge inspection operations. Each team must have a Bridge Inspection Team Leader and an Assistant Inspector. Bridge Inspection Team Leaders must meet the standards of 23 CFR 650.309, Part C, Subpart (b), National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS). Provide a minimum of one (1) inspection team for tunnel inspection operations. Each team must have a Tunnel Inspection Team Leader and Assistant Inspector. Tunnel Inspection Team Leader must meet the standards of CFR 650.509, Part E, Subpart (b). The DEPARTMENT will provide Under Bridge Inspection Vehicles and necessary traffic control for Access Required Routine Inspections. The SERVICE PROVIDERs must furnish other necessary equipment to include laptops/tablets, ladders, GPS units, vehicles, etc. for the life of the contract.
