Specifications include, but are not limited to: Cable Tray Replacement 1. Contractor shall remove approximately six hundred and fifty linear feet (650 LF) of existing cable tray and accessories at various locations and replace with new tray, brackets, and other accessories as necessary. 2. Contractor responsible for disposal of all debris associated with the cable tray. 3. WVU has procured the cable tray materials from State Electric – reference Exhibit A. a. Contractor shall be responsible for receiving and unloading the cable tray materials and shall immediately notify WVU of any shortages necessary to complete the project. b. All miscellaneous mounting hardware and fasteners shall be provided by the Contractor. Light Fixture Replacement 1. Contractor shall remove all existing light fixtures, convenience outlets, light switches, and associated conduit and wire. 2. Electricity for fixtures is sourced from the Student Services Building and E. Moore Hall. a. Contractor shall deactivate and lockout the circuits during the project. 3. WVU has procured seventy (70) light fixtures and has twenty (20) in stock – reference Exhibit B for specifications and Exhbit C for the order. a. Contractor shall be responsible for receiving and unloading the light fixtures and shall immediately notify WVU of any shortages necessary to complete the project. 4. Contractor shall install ninety (90) new light fixtures, receptacles, conduit, and wire. a. Contractor shall provide all necessary new conduit, accessories, receptacles, hardware and fasteners, and wire to replace existing lights and wiring. b. Quantity of light fixtures will place a new light approximately every twenty feet (20 ft.). c. New light switches are not necessary and not a part of this Scope. 5. Contractor shall provide and install new weatherproof Ground Fault Circuit Interrupted (“GFCI”) appropriate for this environment on every third (3rd) light fixture. 6. Any existing fluorescent bulbs and/or PCB ballasts shall be carefully removed from the fixture and turned over to WVU for proper disposal. a. WVU will provide containers for these items.
